The Delhi government’s NEEV – New Era of Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and Vision initiative is redefining the future of school education by moving beyond traditional memorisation to cultivate practical thinking and innovation. Designed for students of Classes 8 to 12, the programme aims to instill entrepreneurial thinking, enhance confidence, and prepare learners for real-world challenges.

Shifting Focus from Marks to Mindset

Unlike conventional teaching that prioritises exam-based recall, NEEV brings activity-driven learning to the forefront. Students are encouraged to analyse, ideate, communicate and take initiative rather than simply reproduce textbook content. Real-life stories of achievers like Manoj Kumar Sharma — whose struggles inspired 12th Fail — act as living examples of determination, grit and self-belief, motivating students to build similar resilience.

Interactive and Peer-Driven Learning Activities

Motivational storytelling is embedded in the curriculum. Activities such as Role Model Research and interactive Talk Show sessions enable learners to study inspiring icons and present their success journeys. A unique feature, the ‘Tumse Ho Payega’ Jar , allows students to drop notes of encouragement or personal goals, strengthening peer connection and fostering a growth-oriented environment.

Entrepreneurship in Action Inside Classrooms

NEEV’s most impactful feature is its real-world simulation approach. Challenges like Business in a Box – Rapid Fire , Startup of the Day , and prototype creation tasks push students to innovate using simple resources. Senior learners work on minimum viable products (MVPs) , seek user feedback and refine solutions, taking cues from brands like Zepto, Meesho and Instagram.
