	 -     The  United States  retains the top spot as the most powerful military, backed by an $860 billion defence budget, global base presence, and advanced systems such as F-35 jets, nuclear submarines, and space-based assets.    
-      Russia  ranks second, maintaining strength through its vast tank and artillery fleet, nuclear arsenal, and modernised systems like the S-500 air defence. Despite sanctions, it remains a key global military power.    
-      China  holds the third position, driven by rapid modernisation of the People’s Liberation Army, expansion of its blue-water navy, and investments in AI, cyber warfare, and unmanned systems, reinforcing its dominance in the Indo-Pacific.    
-      India  ranks fourth, focusing on indigenous defence production under  Atmanirbhar Bharat  . Projects such as the Tejas Mk1A, Arihant-class submarines, and BrahMos missile upgrades underline its growing self-reliance and regional influence.    
-      South Korea  secures fifth place, supported by advanced missile systems, robust defence manufacturing, and strong U.S. strategic ties.
