  • Issue Size: ₹15,511 crore.
  • Significance: It is the biggest initial public offering (IPO) by the Tata Group as well as any Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) in India.
  • Opening Date: October 6, 2025.

2. Valuation and Key Players

  • Price Band: ₹310 to ₹326 per share.
  • Company Valuation: This values Tata Capital to the range of 1,31,591 crore and 1,38,383 crore.
  • Registered Office: MUFG Intime India Pvt Ltd.
  • Sponsor Banks: ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank.

3. Background and Use of Proceeds.

  • Regulatory Mandate: The IPO is being undertaken in adherence to an RBI requirement that the upper-layer NBFCs be listed within a three-year period of classification. In September 2022, Tata Capital was selected as such.
  • Stakeholders: The share of Tata Sons is 88.6% and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) is 1.8%.
  • Plan of the Funds: The amount shall be distributed to the strengthening of Tier-1 capital base of the firm to sustain future lending and capital needs.
