The Central Board of Secondary Educations (CBSE) has also announced the provisional schedule of the Class 10 board examinations in 2026. The primary examinations will take place between the 17th and 9th of March 2026, and the additional Exam-2 will tentatively start on May 15, 2026.
The additional exams provide the students with the second opportunity to clear all pending papers and be promoted without having to wait until the next academic year. CBSE guidelines have instructed schools to finish practicals, projects and in-house examinations prior to the commencement of exams.
Class 10 Exam-2 (2026) tentative Schedule:
May 15: Mathematics Standard, Mathematics Basic.
May 16 & 18: Compartment Subjects
May 19: Science
May 20 & 21: Compartment Subjects
May 22: Social Science
May 23 & 25: Compartment Subjects
May 26: Language
May 28 & 29: Compartment Subjects
May 30: Language
June 1: Compartment Subjects
