Telugu Language Day 2025 Celebrated Grandly in Saudi Arabia

1. Event Overview

  • In Saudi Arabia, Telugu Language Day 2025 brought together over 2,000 people including many Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).
  • The aim of the event was to spread the Telugu culture and social empowerment.

2. Organizers

  • The Saudi Arabia Telugu Association (SATA) with the help of TDP NRI Committee organized the event.

3. Focus on the P4 Model

  • It was based on the P4 model (Public-Private-People Partnership), which is encouraged by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
  • It brought into focus social and economic empowerment initiatives.

4. Government Vision and Pledges

  • Andhra Pradesh Minister of MSME and SERP, Shri Kondapalli Srinivas, was virtually present in the gathering.
  • He highlighted how the state imagined to realise zero poverty by 2047.
  • To this end, over 100 NRIs committed to empowering vulnerable families.

5. Major Donors and Management.

  • Some of the most influential ones were Dr. Vemuri Ravi and Dr. P. Krishnamohan.
  • The SATA Core Committee headed the event, among others, the president Anandraju Gunduboyina.
  • The festival demonstrated the influential nature of the Telugu diaspora in propagating the culture outside the country.
