PM Kisan Yojana 21 st installment imminent farmers asked to fulfill e-KYC

The Government of India has just one flagship scheme enthusiastically awaited by millions of farmers in India, which is the 21 st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Small and marginal farmers through this programme are given direct financial assistance of Rs6,000/yr in form of three installments of Rs2,000/yr.

Will the 21st Installment be released?

Reports indicate that the 21 st installment will be published in October 2025, probably between Navratri and Diwali. It is however important to note that the government is yet to announce the date. Prior to that, farmers are recommended to continue looking at updates on the official site. The 20th of the scheme was published in the beginning of this year on August 2, 2025.

Who Will Benefit?

The next instalment of about 10 crore farmers is likely to be received as bank accounts. This straight benefit transfer offers important financial support to the farmers, thus assists them to cover their farm and family costs.

Critical Notice to the Farmers.

To facilitate easy credit of the 21 st installment, farmers have to undertake some formalities:

  • e-KYC is compulsory - Farmers need to undergo their electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) checking. In the absence of this, installment can be postponed or withheld.
  • Connection of Aadhaar and bank account - Aadhaar number should be connected to the bank account of the farmer so that funds could be transferred directly to him.
  • Status of Beneficiaries Check- On the official portal, farmers will check their names on the beneficiary list and update on the installment received: https://pmkisan.gov.in
