Warning on Sir Creek by the Defence Minister

About the Sir Creek Region

  • Geography: It is an estuary in the marshland of the Rann of Kutch, Gujarat, that is 96 km in length during tidal highs and lows.

    • Pakistan's Sindh province.
  • Other name: It was formerly called Ban Ganga. It changed its name to Sir Creek in the time of the British colonial rule after one of the British officials.
