Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show was inaugurated

PM Modi has opened up the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 in Greater Noida. The event, which has 2,400 exhibitors, will increase investment, employment, and development of the region with Russia being the partner country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 (UPITS-2025) at Greater Noida and the region was set to host one of the biggest trade shows. The mega event which will take place between 25 and 29 September showcases the increasing industrial prowess of Uttar Pradesh and its goal of being a prime investment destination.

Scale and Participation

The current one is the largest to date, with more than 2,400 exhibitors in various fields. The estimated number of visitors that the show will attract is 1.25 lakh B2B and close to 4.5 lakh B2C, which will provide an unprecedented platform enabling industrialists, entrepreneurs, policymakers and international purchasers. The scale indicates the growing industrial potential of the state and its increased interest in the world.

Russia as Partner Country

One of the most interesting aspects of UPITS-2025 is the participation of Russia as the partner country. The partnership will enhance the bilateral trade relationships, promote investment partnerships, and introduce new export and importing possibilities. The involvement of other countries in the system exposes the industries of the state to a wider range of visibility and international connections.

Security and Logistics

The event is fortified with a four-layer security system with more than 5,000 security personnel such as the police, paramilitary, and intelligence units. High security systems like CCTV surveillance, drone surveillance, traffic diversion, and reserved parking guarantee safe and easy visitor experiences in the India Expo Mart.

Economic Significance

UPITS-2025 is in line with such national programs as Make in India, Vocal for Local, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. It aims at attracting investments, creating employment and encouraging industrial diversification throughout Uttar Pradesh. The officials think that the trade show will further boost the image of the state as a desirable business and innovation hub.
