National Affairs

  • The 8th International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly took place in New Delhi , where India launched new global solar initiatives focused on a just and inclusive energy transition .

  • Union Minister Piyush Goyal addressed the TiEcon Delhi-NCR 2025 Conference , urging reduced reliance on foreign technology and boosting domestic innovation under Make in India .

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by releasing a ?150 commemorative coin and a special postage stamp at Kevadia, Gujarat .

Economic and Banking Updates

  • During India Maritime Week (27–31 October) in Mumbai, the Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) signed MoUs worth ?39,216 crore , boosting Andhra Pradesh’s maritime and blue economy growth .
