Schemes Launched:

• Krishi Dhaanya Krishi Yojana PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana.
• Aatmanirbharta in Pulses Mission.
• Total outlay: ₹35,440 crore

Projects Inaugurated/Dedicated:

• Agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries and food processing 5,450 crore worth of projects.
• Groundwork done on projects worth 815 crores.

Fisheries Initiatives:

• 16 projects of 0.693.80 crore under PM Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) and Fisheries Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF).

Key Projects:

• Trout Fisheries, Uttarakhand -170 crore.
• Smart/ Integrated Fishing Harbour, Karaikal -119.94 crore.
• Integrated aqua park, Hirakud, Odisha -100 crore.
• Nutrition Hub of Sustainable Aquaculture, Amethi -70 crore.
• Projects are supposed to increase the fish output, jobs, exports, and reinforce the Blue Economy of India.

Farmer Engagement:

• 100 Aspirational Agricultural Districts with 50 progressive fish farmers.
• Individual interviews with 8 farmers in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, UP, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, South Andaman, J&K.
• Goal: Improve fisheries infrastructure, income of farmers, sustainable practices and fisheries employment.
