PM Modi to Unveil Skyroot’s New Multi-Launch Vehicle Hub in Hyderabad

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to virtually inaugurate Skyroot Aerospace’s state-of-the-art Infinity Campus on 27 November , a landmark development that signals India’s expanding private space capability. The new facility is tailored to support rapid rocket production, enabling the country to scale commercial space launches and strengthen indigenous space technology.

A Modern Production Hub for Orbital Rockets

Spread across 2 lakh square feet , the Infinity Campus is equipped to handle the full manufacturing cycle of orbital-class launch vehicles—spanning design, assembly, qualification and integrated testing. At peak output, the site is planned to deliver one orbital rocket every month , positioning Skyroot among the most productive space startups globally. The campus also includes mission control, propulsion development labs and advanced composite manufacturing units.

Vikram-I Rocket to be Officially Revealed

As part of the event, the Prime Minister will also unveil Vikram-I , Skyroot’s first orbital rocket designed to deploy satellites into Low Earth Orbit. This follows the successful launch of Vikram-S , India’s first privately developed suborbital rocket, which placed the company at the forefront of India’s commercial launch sector. Founded by former ISRO engineers Pawan Chandana and Bharath Daka , Skyroot represents the new wave of private innovation in Indian spaceflight.

Defence & Aerospace Capacity Boost Through Safran Projects

Alongside the Skyroot inauguration, the Prime Minister will also launch Safran Aircraft Engine Services India and lay the foundation stone for a Safran M88 Rafale engine MRO facility . These projects will expand India’s aerospace servicing capacity and reduce overseas dependency for fighter jet engine maintenance.
