India Showcases Defence Prowess at Dubai Air Show 2025
India has made a powerful impression at the Dubai Air Show 2025 , held from 17–18 November at Al Maktoum Airbase, presenting its expanding defence-industrial capabilities and advanced aviation technologies to a global audience. The event serves as a key platform for India to boost defence exports, strengthen partnerships and highlight indigenous achievements in aerospace engineering.
High-Level Indian Delegation Leads Engagement
Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth is leading the Indian delegation, joined by senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of External Affairs. On the sidelines, Seth will hold bilateral discussions with his UAE counterpart and chair a high-level industry roundtable involving Indian and international defence manufacturers to enhance collaboration in production, R&D and supply chains.
India Pavilion Demonstrates Indigenous Innovation
A dedicated India Pavilion showcases products from HAL, DRDO, Dantal Hydraulics, Image Synergy Ekxplor, Corel Technologies and SFO Technologies. Outside the pavilion, 19 major Indian defence companies , including Bharat Forge, BrahMos Aerospace, Tech Mahindra and HBL Engineering , are exhibiting independently. Additionally, 15 Indian startups are presenting innovations in unmanned systems, avionics, propulsion and simulation technologies, reflecting India’s vibrant defence-tech ecosystem.
IAF’s Aerial Display Captivates Global Audiences
The Indian Air Force has deployed the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and LCA Tejas fighters . Suryakiran, Asia’s only nine-aircraft aerobatic team , flying Hawk Mk-132s, delivered precision manoeuvres featuring loops, barrel rolls and formation crossovers. The Tejas fighter showcased India’s indigenous combat aircraft capabilities and export potential.
