- The eligibility requirements to apply to Uttar Pradesh Police Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment 2025 are that candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a recognized university or any other similar qualification that is accepted by the Government of India.
Key Instructions for Document Submission:
- During the filling of the form, it is a requirement to upload the graduation mark sheet.
- In case the original degree certificate is not at hand, one may upload a provisional degree.
- Candidates may upload their graduation mark sheets in the absence of a provisional certificate.
- The original mark sheets and degree certificate will have to be provided during document verification and the physical standard test.
Preferred (But Not Mandatory) Qualifications:
- "O" Level Computer Certification from NIELIT (DOEACC) & equivalent.
- Two years of service in the Territorial Army.
- NCC "B" Certificate.

UP Police SI Recruitment 2025 - Physical Standard & Efficiency Test
As part of the UP Police Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment 2025, candidates must clear both the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to qualify for further stages.
Physical Standard Test (PST):
Male Candidates:
- Height: UR/OBC/SC - 168 cm,
- Height: ST - 160 cm
- Chest: UR/OBC/SC - 79-84 cm,
- Chest: ST - 77-82 cm
Female Candidates:
- Height: UR/OBC/SC - 152 cm,
- Height: ST - 147 cm
- Minimum Weight: 40 kg
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male: 4.8 km race in 28 minutes.
- Female: 16 minutes race to cover 2.4 km.
Clearing these tests is mandatory for all applicants to move ahead in the UP Police SI selection process.

Applicants to the UP Police Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment 2025 need to prepare the following documents when filling the online application form:
- Photograph: A recent passport-size color photo with a white or light background.
- Signature: The black or blue signature on white paper.
