  • Conducting Body: Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC)

  • Primary Purpose: To determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges within Madhya Pradesh.

MPPSC 2025 Exam Pattern & Structure

• Mode: The exam will be conducted in Online (CBT) Mode.

• Papers: There will be two papers.

• Question Type: Objective Type (MCQs) including Matching, True/False, and Assertion-Reasoning.

• Marks & Duration:

• Master's Degree: Candidates must have a Master's degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (without rounding off).

• Relaxation:

  • 50% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Third Gender categories.

  • 55% marks for Ph.D. degree holders whose Master's level examination was completed by 19th September 1991.

• Final Year Students: Candidates appearing in the final year of their Master's degree can also apply provisionally.
