Bharat Mandapam Hosts Mega AI Expo Highlighting Global Innovation

The India AI Impact Summit 2026 commenced at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, drawing attention for its exceptional scale and international participation. Held from February 16 to 20, the summit is positioned as one of the largest global gatherings focused on artificial intelligence, innovation, and governance.

Accompanying the summit is the India AI Impact Expo 2026, designed as an immersive showcase of cutting-edge AI technologies. Organised by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), with the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) serving as custodian, the expo aims to present real-world applications of AI across sectors.


Expansive Exhibition Footprint

The AI Impact Expo spans more than 70,000 square metres within Bharat Mandapam, making it one of the most extensive technology exhibitions hosted in India. The venue has been structured into 10 thematic arenas, each dedicated to specific domains such as healthcare, governance, mobility, sustainability, robotics, and digital infrastructure.

The event features participation from over 600 startups alongside global technology firms, research institutions, academia, Union Ministries, and State Governments. Officials estimate that more than 2.5 lakh visitors, including international delegates, industry leaders, and innovators, will attend the summit and expo.


Strong International Presence

A key highlight is the establishment of 13 country pavilions showcasing global collaboration in AI. Participating nations include Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and African countries.

These pavilions present national AI strategies, technological breakthroughs, and cross-border partnership opportunities, reinforcing the summit’s multilateral character.
