The Solar Intensity and Production Capacity in India shoots toward energy independence

India is taking giant steps towards strengthening the renewable energy sector with solar energy taking center-stage in its clean energy revolution. Recently, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has released another version of Solar PV Potential Assessment Report and released the first training survey on Solar Cell and Module Production in the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), Gurugram. Cumulatively, these efforts will enhance the objective of India to have 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030 and energy independence by 2047.

India Opens Telecom Safety Testing Network to enhance Digital Safety

The Government of India has taken a major step towards enhancing telecom security, when it designated M/s Compliance International Pvt. Ltd. Noida as an approved testing facility of IP Routers, under the CommunSec Scheme of Scheme. This addition gives India a total of nine accredited TSTLs spread between five states able to provide faster and cheaper testing services to manufacturers and other services providers.

India Upgrades Advanced weather prediction through new DBNet stations

Under a large milestone in cementing weather prediction and disaster management, the National Centre of medium Range Weather Forecasting (NCMRWF) and New Space India limited (NSIL) has collaborated to have two Direct Broadcast Network (DBNet) stations under the Mission Mausam project. Its proposed stations to be installed in Delhi/ NCR and Chennai are going to allow almost real-time access to satellite data due to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites, which will bring a breakthrough to the meteorological system of India.

Cold Start Exercise 2025 of India to center on Drone and counter-drone warfare

In early October 2025, India is set to hold its biggest tri service military exercise, named Cold Start. The exercise, which will presumably be located in Madhya Pradesh, will unite the Army, Navy and Air Force to conduct an operational preparedness check against one of the rapidly increasing threats in the modern warfare-drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
