Punjab FC emerged as champions of the AIFF Elite Youth League 2025-26 by scoring a comfortable 3-0 victory over Zinc Football Academy.Punjab FC showed their strength and consistency in youth football by turning the match in the second half with three consecutive goals, after a close first half.

Second Half Changes the Game.

The match remained at a draw after over an hour, when Punjab FC went on a goal spurt:

• 69th minute: Karish Soram was able to score with a tight curling shot.
• 70 th minute: Captain Vishal Yadav increased the goal by one in one minute.
• 79th minute: Thongram Rishikanta Singh scored the third goal.

This fast point streak totally shifted the tide and further diminished the chances of Zinc Football Academy to get back.

First Half: Control No Goals.

In the first half, Punjab FC controlled the ball, but failed to score.

Key moments included:

• Efforts by both Vishal Yadav and Sameer who were rescued by goalkeeper Smarnik Thapa.
