The Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 initiated by the Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan will be a historic event in works to transform the country in terms of innovation. The Government of Karnataka is implementing Local Economy Accelerator Programme (LEAP) in form of a Rs1, 000 Rs1, 000-crore project that will take place throughout the State, geographically decentralizing the idea of innovation and entrepreneurship. LEAP, which is a five-year plan, aims to create robust technology many years in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities so that Bengaluru cannot buffer most of the economic growth.

Tamil Nadu Coastal Restoration Mission (TN-SHORE) is a landmark project announced in 2025 to enhance resilience against climate change of the state and protection of its vulnerable coastal ecosystems. Backed by the World Bank funded over Rs1,000 crore and another 675 crore by the Tamil Nadu government the mission combines community-based development and environmental protection.
