IN-SPACe Leads Indian Delegation to Space Meetings Veneto 2026

Overview

IN-SPACe, India’s space regulator, led a team of nine Indian space companies to an event in Venice, Italy. The event was called Space Meetings Veneto 2026. It took place on 16–17 May 2026. The Indian team was led by Dr. P.K. Jain. The companies signed new deals with Italian firms. This will help India and Italy work together in space technology.

Scientists Discover Buried River 15 Metres Below Ground in Uttar Pradesh

Overview

Scientists from the CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) in Hyderabad have found an old underground river channel. It lies between Prayagraj and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. The buried river is about 10 to 15 metres below the surface. It stretches for nearly 200 kilometres. This ancient riverbed still holds a huge amount of water. Scientists believe it could help solve water problems in the region.
