A Major Push for High-Value Agriculture

Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority is setting up a basmati and organic training centre and demonstrating farm in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh.The project has been advanced following the purchase of 7 acres of land in government agriculture farm in Tanda Bijesi village. The project is expected to be developed with a ₹15 crore investment, focusing on enhancing the production of premium basmati, supporting organic production, and improving farmers in terms of their export preparedness.

The scientists of Shenzhen University have invented a new technology which is known as the Zero-Carbon-Emission Direct Coal Fuel Cell (ZC-DCFC). This new technology allows coal to be directly turned into electricity without combustion, dispelling the long-held belief that coal-derived energy supply should be much more polluting.
