A notification from Legislature Secretary General Prasanna Kumar Suryadevara confirmed that attendance recording through physical registers has been discontinued with immediate effect.

The Government of Kerala has formally rolled out the Sthree Suraksha Scheme, a monthly pension programme designed to provide income support to unemployed women and transwomen from economically weaker sections. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the scheme in Malayinkeezhu, Thiruvananthapuram. The first instalment of Rs1,000 has been credited to more than 10.18 lakh approved beneficiaries.
