Context:
Varanasi is set to host the fourth edition of the Kashi Tamil Sangamam (KTS 4.0) from December 2 to 15, 2025 , marking another milestone in strengthening India’s cultural unity. The event celebrates the historic and spiritual bond between Kashi (Varanasi) and Tamil Nadu , symbolising the essence of “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.”

The 2025 edition aims to promote linguistic harmony and the exchange of cultural knowledge between northern and southern India.

It emphasises Tamil language learning, literature, and heritage , while fostering national integration through shared traditions and values.
Key Highlights of KTS 4.0

Duration: December 2–15, 2025

Delegates: Over 1,400 participants from Tamil Nadu representing seven categories — students, teachers, writers/media, artisans, women, agricultural experts, and spiritual scholars.

Major Attraction: The “Agasthya Expedition” — a symbolic journey from Tenkasi to Kashi , showcasing Tamil Nadu’s civilisational links with northern India.

The event will conclude with a valedictory ceremony at Rameswaram on December 15, 2025.
