Telangana Attracts ₹5.75 Lakh Crore Investments at Rising Global Summit
Telangana wrapped up the two-day Telangana Rising Global Summit with ₹5.75 lakh crore worth of investment commitments, marking one of the biggest capital inflows the State has ever secured. The event highlighted the State’s ambition to emerge as a national leader in clean energy, large-scale data systems and technologically driven urban development.
Energy and Data Infrastructure Lead the Pact
Almost half of the committed investments were directed toward the energy sector , signalling investor confidence in large-scale sustainable power projects. Data centres formed the next major share of projects. Infrakey Datacenter Parks announced a 1 GW AI-powered data centre valued at ₹70,000 crore , while Singapore-based AGIDC committed ₹67,500 crore to set up an international digital gateway facility. These projects aim to position Telangana as a key digital infrastructure node in South Asia.
Urban Expansion and Technology Integration
JCK Infra Projects pledged ₹9,000 crore to develop an integrated AI City and township in Bharat Future City , aligning with the State’s vision of blending urban growth with next-generation technologies. The government emphasised that futuristic clusters like these will attract global enterprises seeking stable, long-term investment ecosystems.
Vision 2047: A Trillion-Dollar Ambition
The Chief Minister unveiled the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document , targeting a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and $3 trillion by 2047 . Built with inputs from NITI Aayog and ISB, the roadmap focuses on inclusive development, education reform, sports excellence and youth-oriented skill development.
