IISF 2025: Celebrating Science, Innovation and Self-Reliance in Panchkula
The 11th India International Science Festival (IISF) commenced on 6 December 2025 in Panchkula, Haryana , and will run until 9 December . Established in 2015, IISF has grown into one of India’s most influential platforms for promoting scientific curiosity, public engagement and collaboration among researchers, students, industry and policymakers.
Theme and Vision: Science for a Self-Reliant India
This year’s theme, “Vigyan Se Samruddhi: for Aatmanirbhar Bharat,” underscores the role of scientific progress in driving national development and economic self-reliance. IISF 2025 aims to integrate frontier technologies with India’s traditional knowledge systems, demonstrating how modern research can complement indigenous wisdom to power sustainable growth.

More than 40,000 participants —including scientists, educators, startups, industry experts, women researchers and students—are expected to attend. IISF continues to serve as a dynamic multi-stakeholder platform for showcasing innovations, fostering scientific networking and accelerating technology adoption.
