PM Modi presents 9-point Agenda of Viksit Karnataka Vision.

Overview

Narendra Modi launched a development agenda of nine points to realize Viksit Karnataka as a subset of Viksit Bharat on April 15, 2026. In a speech at the Sri Aadichunchanagiri Mutt, he stressed citizen participation, sustainability and cultural values as among the pillars of inclusive growth.

Stressing the point of supporting the local, Modi demanded that indigenous industries and local products should be supported more. He also promoted domestic tourism as a means of enhancing national integration and revitalising regional economies to match the pace of economic growth with grassroots involvement.


Agriculture and Healthy Living.

To the farmers and particularly in places such as Mandya, he promoted natural and chemical-free farming to enhance the soil health and sustainability. Regarding lifestyle consideration, he brought out the problem of obesity and encouraged more healthy living ideas like taking Ragi, less use of oil and use of yoga and sports to improve their health.


Cultural Values and Social Service

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of seva (service) in nation-building and commended spiritual institutions such as the Aadichunchanagiri Mutt in their efforts to educate, provide healthcare, and social welfare services. He emphasized the need to integrate cultural values with modern development as a vital part of developing India.
