Overview

• The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has officially declared the State Level Selection Test (SLST) Result 2025 today, November 7, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download their WBSSC SLST 2025 scorecard from the official website — wbssc.gov.in.
• However, soon after the result announcement, the official website reportedly faced heavy traffic and temporary downtime, causing difficulty for some users trying to access their results.

Major Developments on 7 November 2025

1. Launch of the Varanasi–Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express

• On 7 November, Narendra Modi is scheduled to flag off the new high-speed train service between Varanasi and Khajuraho. The service aims to cover the 443 km stretch in about 7 hours 40 minutes, enhancing connectivity to several heritage and tourist sites. 

• The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), Prayagraj, has officially announced the schedule for the High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) board examinations for the academic year 2026.

• The annual Life Certificate submission process for pensioners has begun, with the standard window from November 1 to November 30, 2025, and an early submission option from October 1 for those aged 80 years and above. Pensioners must submit the certificate to continue receiving their pension without interruption.

• The first phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 is underway today across 121 constituencies in 18 districts, with 1,314 candidates in the fray.
