Clarification on Calculator Use

• The update, released on November 2, 2025 , addresses a typographical error found in the JEE Main 2026 Information Bulletin. The earlier version had incorrectly mentioned the availability of an on-screen standard calculator in Appendix-VIII under the Computer-Based Test (CBT) section.
• The NTA clarified that this feature belongs to its generic testing platform used for other exams , not for JEE (Main). The rule prohibiting calculators remains unchanged.

“The use of calculators in any form is not permitted in this examination,” the notice stated clearly.
