SAHI and BODH Initiatives Highlight AI Summit’s Second Day
The India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, moves into its second day following a high-profile inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The five-day summit has emerged as one of the largest global gatherings on artificial intelligence, bringing together policymakers, innovators, startups, industry leaders and delegates from more than 100 countries.
Strong Opening and Heavy Participation
On the inaugural day, the Prime Minister engaged with startups showcased at the India AI Impact Expo. The exhibition features over 600 startups and 13 country pavilions, underlining the scale of international collaboration. High visitor turnout, however, resulted in logistical delays and traffic congestion around the venue.
The summit reflects India’s ambition to position itself as a leading AI innovation and governance hub.
Healthcare-Focused AI Initiatives
A key highlight of Day Two is the scheduled launch of two major initiatives by Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda:

Global Leadership Presence
The summit has attracted extensive participation from world leaders. Attendees include heads of state and government from France, Spain, Brazil, Greece and the United Arab Emirates, among others. Such representation underscores the growing global importance of AI governance, ethical standards and regulatory cooperation.
