The newly approved projects involve a combined investment of ₹7,172 crore , with authorities estimating the creation of around 11,800 direct jobs . The approved applicants specialise in manufacturing critical components such as multi-layer PCBs, camera modules, connectors, oscillators, optical transceivers , and power components. Officials noted that the projects are expected to contribute to ₹65,111 crore worth of electronic component production over time.
