India Blue Revolution Repackages Fisheries Industry

The fisheries industry of India has experienced significant revival with the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) which was launched in 2020. The scheme has increased ecological sustainability, economic growth and social inclusiveness after five years. AIIMS Introduces AI Mental Health Programme Never Alone

In 2025, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, launched an AI-based mental health project, Never Alone. The programme was introduced on World Suicide Prevention Day and it deals with increased cases of student committed suicide and mental health. It offers 24/7 virtual and offline consultations, with a WhatsApp-readable application, which offers safe and cost-effective mental health screening in the country.

Hellfire Missile Fails to hit UFO in the US

Washington was shocked when the news that one of the US Hellfire missiles did not hit a UFO at Yemen was reported. This was revealed at a 2025 congressional hearing on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs). In October 2024 footage captured by an MQ-9 Reaper drone featured the missile appearing to hit a glowing orb before bouncing back without detonation or harm. Western Ghats New Species of Aspergillus

Introduction

The western Ghats, which is among the biodiversity hotspots in the world has again justified itself as an ecologically important region. Two new species of black aspergilli fungi one named Aspergillus dhakephalkarii and the other named Aspergillus patriciawiltshireae have been identified by researchers in the MACS-Agharkar Research Institute, Pune. The paper has also documented A. aculeatinus and A. brunneoviolaceus in India, first time. The finding highlights the enormous amount of fungal diversity concealed in the Western Ghats.
