India to Establish Four Quantum Fabrication Hubs Worth Rs720 Crore
In a major push towards quantum research leadership, the Government of India has announced the creation of four state-of-the-art quantum fabrication and central research hubs, collectively valued at ₹720 crore. The facilities — to be set up at IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur and IISc Bengaluru — fall under the National Quantum Mission, designed to accelerate India’s journey in next-generation computing, communication and sensing technologies.
