Another step in enhancing bilateral defence cooperation was the 7th edition of the IndiaUzbekistan Joint Military Exercise Dustlik, which ended in Namangan, Uzbekistan. The drill saw the two countries unite their troops to improve interoperability and joint operational preparedness especially in counter-terrorism operations. The equal involvement of both parties was a sign of mutual trust and dedication towards the security of the region.
