Sacred 872-Year-Old Jain Relics to be Worshipped in Rajasthan
Rajasthan’s desert city of Jaisalmer will host India’s inaugural Jain Chadar Mahotsav from 6 to 8 March 2026. The three-day religious congregation will revolve around the veneration of the 872-year-old garments of Dada Shri Jindatt Suri Maharaj, safeguarded within the Gyan Bhandar manuscript library of a historic Jain temple. Organisers anticipate participation from Jain ascetics, prominent dignitaries and more than 30,000 devotees nationwide.
