Goa Current Affairs Passing of Ravi Naik.

  • Ravi Naik, the former Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister of Goa died on 15 October 2025 aged 79 after cardiac arrest.
  • He represented MGP, Congress, and BJP in politics, and he had been elected seven times to the MLA with many elective straddles at Ponda and once at Marcaim.
  • Initially elected to the Goa Legislature in 1984 through Ponda (MGP) and once again in 1989 through Marcaim.
