C-DOT Hosts Demo Day for Samarth Telecom Startup Incubation Programme

18 Startups Showcase Innovations at C-DOT Samarth Incubation Demo Day

The Centre for Development of Telematics organised a Demo Day in New Delhi for 18 startups participating in the second cohort of the Samarth Incubation Programme . Held at the NBCC Convention Hall , the event highlighted innovative technological solutions developed by startups working in areas such as telecommunications, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), 5G and 6G networks, and quantum technologies. The initiative reflects India’s growing emphasis on strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship in the telecom and information and communication technology (ICT) sectors.


Samarth Incubation Programme for Startups

The Samarth Incubation Programme was launched in March 2025 to support emerging startups in the telecom and ICT ecosystem. The programme operates through two cohorts of six months each and supports up to 18 startups per cohort , with a total capacity of 36 startups .

The incubation initiative is implemented with the support of Software Technology Parks of India and TiE , which collaborate with C-DOT to mentor participating companies.


Financial Support and Mentorship

Startups selected under the programme receive financial assistance of ₹5 lakh each along with access to office spaces and advanced research laboratories at C-DOT facilities in New Delhi and Bengaluru .

The programme also offers mentorship from scientists and industry experts. Participants are trained in areas including product design, intellectual property management, financial planning, minimum viable product development, market strategy and fundraising.


Startups Selected for Stage-II Grant

During the Demo Day, startups presented their technological solutions to investors and industry experts. Based on innovation and execution potential, five startups were chosen for the Stage-II grant . These include Huebits Tech Private Limited , Khageshvara Aviation Technology Private Limited , Xpectro Solutions Private Limited , Zepto Logic Technologies Private Limited , and Vocbot.Ai Technology Private Limited .

The selected startups will receive additional financial support and may benefit from further partnerships through the C-DOT Collaborative Research Programme .


Strengthening India’s Telecom Innovation Ecosystem

According to Rajkumar Upadhyay , the solutions demonstrated by startups show the expanding capabilities of India’s digital innovation ecosystem. Initiatives such as the Samarth incubation programme aim to encourage indigenous technological development and support the growth of advanced communication technologies.
