The mega sports complex has been developed at Khanikar in Dibrugarh at an estimated cost of ₹233 crore . Spread over 104 bighas of land , it ranks among the most ambitious sports infrastructure initiatives ever undertaken in Assam. With a planned seating capacity of nearly 35,000 spectators , the stadium is designed to host major national and international sporting events, positioning Dibrugarh as an emerging sports destination in the Northeast.

The multi-sports stadium is expected to offer modern, world-class facilities catering to a range of disciplines.
