Akshita Dhankar was born in Kasni village of Haryana , where discipline and service were part of everyday life. Her father’s service in the Indian Air Force played a defining role in shaping her ambitions. Academic Journey and NCC Leadership

She pursued higher education at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, Delhi , where she joined the National Cadet Corps (NCC) . Her leadership qualities stood out as she rose to the prestigious rank of Cadet Sergeant Major , one of the highest distinctions in NCC. Entry into the Indian Air Force

Dhankar cleared the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and was recommended by the Air Force Selection Board, Mysuru . She was commissioned into the Administration Branch of the Indian Air Force as a Flying Officer in June 2023 . Demonstrating professional competence and discipline, she earned promotion to Flight Lieutenant within three years , reflecting rapid career progression.
