• India  hosted the  ISO TC 20/SC 14  meetings on space systems and operations for the first time.

• Aizawl (Mizoram)  held its first Regional Cooperative Reform Conference under the  “Sahkar se Samriddhi”  vision to strengthen North‑East India’s cooperative institutions.

• Under its  BRICS Chairship 2026 , India is pushing  MSME cooperation  focused on financial inclusion, fintech ecosystems, and inclusive growth.

• For the  Census 2027 , India will use  QR‑code enabled ID cards  for enumerators to improve identity verification and data accuracy.

• Odisha  topped all states in housing completions under the  Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban 2.0 (PMAY‑U 2.0) .

• The  Maharashtra government  approved the  Compressed Biogas Policy 2026  to boost renewable energy from waste‑to‑energy projects.

• DRDO  achieved a breakthrough in hypersonic missile technology by successfully long‑duration testing an  actively cooled full‑scale scramjet combustor .
