  • Telangana Bathukamma Festival has gained two Guinness World Records:
  • To the greatest floral composition.
  • The most synchronized participants in the dance are female dancers.
  • The grandiose floral building was constructed by around 300 craftsmen in 72 hours with the use of metal, bamboo and an uncountable number of flowers to illustrate the rich floral legacy of the festival.

First Dugong Conservation Reserve in India is IUCN recognized

  • India boasts of the first Dugong Conservation Reserve which is duly recognized by the International Union of Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
