World Music Day 2026: Hyderabad's Free Music Festival Returns with Global Rhythms

Overview

Hyderabad is set to light up with music on World Music Day, 21 June 2026. The city will host Fête de la Musique, a free open-air festival, and the Alright Mela with Mediterranean rhythms. Hyderabad Voices will also present a choir rendition of the National Anthem. Music lovers are in for a treat.

India-UK Free Trade Agreement to Take Effect from 15 July 2026

The India-UK Free Trade Agreement will come into force on 15 July 2026. Signed on 24 July 2025, the pact will slash tariffs on key goods: Indian whisky from 150% to 40% and automotive tariffs from 100% to 10%. Bilateral trade is expected to rise by £25.5 billion annually.

Madhya Pradesh to Introduce Uniform Civil Code Bill in Monsoon Session

US-Iran Truce: 14-Point Agreement Ends War, Reopens Strait of Hormuz
