Department of War Restores U.S. Pacific Command Designation, Honoring Historical Legacy

New Lynx Spider Species Hamataliwa mawlyngot Discovered in Meghalaya

Overview

Researchers have discovered a new species of lynx spider named Hamataliwa mawlyngot in Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills. It was found on Molucca brambles on a hillside. This is the first record of the lynx spider genus Hamataliwa in Meghalaya. The spider is an active hunter and does not build webs.

Exercise Pitch Black 2026: India Joins 19-Nation Air Combat Drill in Australia

Exercise Pitch Black 2026, the Royal Australian Air Force's largest multinational air combat exercise, will be held from 20 July to 7 August 2026 in Australia's Northern Territory. More than 100 aircraft from 19 countries, including India, will participate. The exercise will be conducted from RAAF bases in Darwin, Tindal, and Amberley.

Telegram Moves Delhi High Court Against Centre's Ban Ahead of NEET-UG Re-Test

Telegram has challenged the Centre's temporary ban in the Delhi High Court.
