An important find in Indian biodiversity.
Two new species of jumping spiders have been discovered in India by researchers proving the theory that the biodiversity of this country is not yet well-documented. The brand new species, Mogrus shushka and Mogrus pune, are a part of the jumping spider family, and show that even dry-land scenery and an urban ecosystem can sustain new life forms.
