Defence Ministry Signs Rs975 Crore Deal to Boost Tank Minefield Breaching Capability

Overview

The Ministry of Defence of India has entered into contracts totalling almost Rs975 crore to improve the minefield-breaching ability of the Indian Army tanks T-72 and T-90. The procurement is on complex TRAWL assemblies, which are designed to enhance battlefield mobility and operational readiness especially in high-risk, mine-infested areas along sensitive borders.

India Seafood Exports Reach Record Rs72,325 Crore in FY 2025-26

According to the Marine Products Export Development Authority, the seafood exports of India were highest ever at 72,325.82 crore in FY 202526 with the volumes of exports reaching a record high of 19.32 lakh metric tonnes. The increase is based on strong international demand and India strategic diversification in new destinations in spite of the difficulties in traditional destinations.
