India Signs ₹7,995-Crore MH-60R Seahawk Support Deal
India has entered into a significant defence sustainment agreement with the United States valued at ₹7,995 crore, aimed at ensuring long-term support for the Indian Navy’s MH-60R Seahawk helicopters. The pact, concluded on November 28, 2025, comes amid diplomatic strain following Washington’s decision to impose steep tariffs on Indian exports earlier in the year. Despite these tensions, the deal underscores the strategic continuity in Indo–U.S. defence cooperation.
