India and Vietnam discussed the possible sale of the BrahMos missile during the state visit of Vietnamese President To Lam from 5 May to 7 May 2026.

The visit took place at the invitation of Narendra Modi. During the visit, both countries upgraded their relationship to an Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The discussions highlighted growing defence cooperation and strategic ties between the two Indo-Pacific partners.

JANANI stands for Journey of Antenatal, Natal and Neonatal Integrated Care.

The platform will digitally monitor women and children during pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care. The system aims to improve healthcare tracking, early risk detection, and continuity of medical services.
