• The Ministry of Mines has released the State Mining Readiness Index (SMRI) 2025, a new framework to evaluate how well Indian states are adopting mining reforms and sustainable practices. Announced in the Union Budget 2025–26, this index aims to enhance transparency, boost competitiveness, and modernise the mining sector across the country.

• Significant decisions to support farmers, enhance MSMEs and help vulnerable communities have been passed by the Cabinet of Madhya Pradesh. One of the breakthroughs is the fact that the state made a historic purchase of Kodo and Kutki millets, which guaranteed fair prices and promoted the millet farming.

• In 2025, the Union Agriculture Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has introduced two large-scale national projects Pulses Mission Self-Reliance., and Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana.. The two programmes are intended to boost the agriculture industry in India, improve the income of farmers and food security.

• India International Science Festival (IISF) 2025 was officially introduced, and will be held in the competent period of 6-9 December 2025 at Panjab University, Chandigarh. The objective of the festival is to foster the spirit of science, innovation, and engagement with the population in the spirit of the theme of Vigyan Se Samriddhi, which means science to prosperity.

India has shown its commitment to combatting malnutrition and enhancing community nutritional status by the 8 th Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2025 that was held at Dehradun to conclude the conference. The campaign, on a month long basis, under the name of Poshan Abhiyaan (2018) was directed towards promotion, behavioural transformation, and technological inclusion to enhance service delivery.
