India has earned global acclaim by achieving three Guinness World Records under the “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan” (SNSPA) , a nationwide initiative focused on women’s health and preventive care . Conducted between September 17 and October 2, 2025 , the campaign marked a major milestone in India’s public health efforts, coinciding with Poshan Maah and reflecting a strong push for women-centric wellness programs.

Most participants in online vital signs screening at the state level in one week – 1.25 lakh.
These records demonstrate the reach and digital strength of India’s health infrastructure and its capacity to mobilise citizens for preventive healthcare through technology.
Nationwide Outreach and Collaboration
- The campaign covered all districts across India , conducting over 19.7 lakh health camps and attracting participation from more than 11 crore people . Over 20 ministries , medical institutions, and private organisations collaborated to make it a true “Whole-of-Government” effort . The initiative also saw active participation from five lakh Panchayati Raj representatives , 1.14 crore students , and 94 lakh self-help group members , showing exceptional community involvement.
Focus on Preventive Healthcare
- The Swasth Nari campaign prioritised preventive screening and women’s wellness . It recorded 1.78 crore hypertension tests , 1.73 crore diabetes screenings , 69.5 lakh oral cancer checks , and 62.6 lakh antenatal examinations . Moreover, 2.14 crore people joined counselling and wellness sessions , emphasising early detection and holistic health awareness for families.
Digital Innovation and Women Empowerment
- According to the Health Ministry, these records highlight India’s digital health capabilities and effective inter-ministerial coordination . Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the campaign, calling it a celebration of “Nari Shakti” and a step toward a healthy and empowered India .
