- Significant decisions to support farmers, enhance MSMEs and help vulnerable communities have been passed by the Cabinet of Madhya Pradesh. One of the breakthroughs is the fact that the state made a historic purchase of Kodo and Kutki millets, which guaranteed fair prices and promoted the millet farming.
- The initial procurement of Kodo-Kutki Millets.
- Procurement to include large districts with a good source of millet such as Jabalpur, Katni, Mandla, and others.
- Procurement Targets (Kharif 2025): 30, 000 metric tonnes.
MSP Rates:
- Kutki: Rs3,500 per quintal
- Kodo: Rs2,500 per quintal
Support Measures:
- 80 crore loan in interest-free loan to Shri Ann Consortium through Price Stabilization Fund.
- Rs Incentive 1000 per quintal to farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Aim: To stabilise the prices, encourage growing of millet and increase incomes of the rural people.
Bhavantar (Price Deficit) Scheme to Soybean Farmers.
- Relevant period of sale: 24 October 2025 to 15 January 2026.
- Farmers to get compensated on price variance between:
- MSP and market Price of Rs5,238 per quintal.
- Model price which is calculated on the basis of 14 days weighted averages of mandi.
- Guarantees protection against market volatility.
RAMP Programme for MSMEs
- Budget: Rs105.36 crore
- State share: Rs31.60 crore (30%)
- Intended to enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs, adoption of technology and creation of jobs.
- Ministry of MSME national scheme.
There is an increase in Dearness Relief (DR) among Pensioners.
- Efficient on 1 September 2025 (payable on October 2025):
- 7th Pay Commission: DR has risen by 53% to 55%.
- DR 6 th Pay Commission: DR rose by 246% to 252%.
- Advantage: Assists the pensions to cope with inflation and increasing prices.
Sardar Patel Coaching Scheme should be expanded.
- Extended to FY 2025-26 and 2026-27
- 5,000 young people of backward and minority groups to get complimentary coaching on competitive exams.
- Pay attention to the enhancement of access to employment with the assistance of quality preparation.
