Government & Policy

  • Four great Indian Railways projects costing a total of 24,634 crore were granted by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA).
  • NITI Aayog published the Q4 FY 2024-25 report of the Trade Watch and signed a Statement of Intent with the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) in order to promote innovation.
  • The department of Drinking Water and Sanitation entered into an MOA with BISAG-N to utilize space technology and geo-informatics in managing water and sanitation.

International Relations Diplomacy.

  • A Delegation comprising of an Indian Parliamentary Delegation headed by the Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla is present at the 68 th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) currently being held in Bridgetown, Barbados.
  • Rajiv Ranjan Singh, a Union Minister, was present in a 2 nd Global Conference on Sustainable Livestock Transformation held at the FAO headquarters in Rome.

  • The first Dugong Conservation Reserve of India was recognized as the Palk Bay Dugong Conservation Reserve located in the state of Tamil Nadu by the International Union of Conservation nature (IUCN).
