Infrastructure & Energy

• The Prime Minister had laid the foundation of the Mahi Banswara Rajasthan Atomic Power Project at Banswara, Rajasthan.
• NHAI is implementing QR code based signboards on the National Highways to provide commuters with immediate project information and emergency contact information.
• The first fleet of electric heavy trucks with swappable battery was introduced in Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority.

Government Programs and projects.

• The Ministries of Rural Development and Jal Shakti had unanimously initiated a National Initiative on Water Security.
• The Ministry of Panchayati Raj has decided to introduce a campaign called the Sabki Yojana, Sabka Vikas, which is the People Plan Campaign 202526.
• A new programme was implemented by RBI in accelerating the settlement of unclaimed deposit and the opening of inoperative bank accounts.
• In Gandhinagar, Gujarat a national conference on Land Administration and Disaster Management was launched.

International Relations and Defence.

• By the end of October 2025, India and China have agreed to re-establish direct air transport between the two countries.
• Indian Air Force officially retired its legendary MiG-21 fighter jets and revoked its two final squadrons.
• The First Training Squadron ships stopped on a diplomatic visit to Mombasa, Kenya.

Economic & Corporate Developments.

• The ISSA Award 2025 was given to India due to its remarkable development in spreading social protection in the country.
• The Supreme Court accepted the bid of JSW Steel to acquire Bhushan Power and Steel worth about 2.3 billion dollars.
• The openAI was valued at a historic 500 billion dollars after a massive secondary sale of shares to Softbank.
• Greece Eurobank was also given the go-ahead by RBI to open its first representative office in Mumbai.

Banking and Digital Initiatives.

• In a bid to use NPCI e-RUPI vouchers, Bank of Baroda introduced a digital gifting option on its UPI app.
• Bank of India has collaborated with Cashinvoice to launch BOI Trade Easy a time-saving loan service to MSMEs.
• TATA AIG has gone into bancassurance venture with the Equitas Small Finance Bank to expand its distribution channels.
• A memorandum between the DoT and the FIU-IND was signed in order to enhance real-time communication to fight cyber-crime and financial frauds.

• Union Bank of India has hired Asheesh Pandey as the MD and CEO, and Central Bank of India has hired Kalyan Kumar as the MD and CEO.
